Construction Recruitment | Recruitment Leeds | Construction Staff Recruitment in Leeds | Yorkshire

"Britain - indeed the global economy - faces recession. Unemployment will rise to two million, and some say three million, next year".

Even more are worried about losing their jobs.

But most people won't lose their jobs, even if the recession is a tough one. So our first piece of advice is do not get too gloomy, most people will come through.

BBC News Website (March 2009)

Whilst the Construction industry has a reputation for being the "first in a recession and last out", we remain confident that Construction is also one of the most proactive sectors in which to get the employment market moving in a positive direction again.

We are hearing this "train of thought" from the worldwide community as well as in the UK. Plans are being put in place to invest in infrastructure and bring forward spending for Public Sector led initiatives such as the BSF (Building Schools for the Future) programme, as well as continuing the Better Homes drive and more recently announcing an intention to support PFI led projects.

Needless to say we have to deal with reality as people are faced with the possibility of being made redundant and have genuine concerns over their job security.

In addition to the positions listed on our own website, click here to register, we have listed below links to websites which we hope will be of help during these extremely difficult times and assure you that as an Agency and Employment Business we are doing all that we can to identify job opportunities to present to you.
