Job Description:

We are currently seeking to appoint a Project Manager to join the property team of this Global Construction Consultancy in the Leeds office. The successful Candidate will be working as part of a larger team of multi-discipline professionals managing a range of construction, property and strategic estates related management services to healthcare Clients.

• The post-holder will lead the delivery of a wide range of healthcare schemes, including major refurbishments and new build ventures.

• Working closely with various Clients, you will be responsible for ensuring that each scheme is completed to its design specification, within budget constraints and to the agreed time frame.

• You will also be involved in more strategic and operational Consultancy, including capital planning and property management.

• Assist in the professional management of feasibility studies and investment appraisals, inclusive of innovative capital solutions.

• Responsible for the production of the client’s Capital Project Management monitoring procedures in accordance with NHS recommendations.

• Advise on the selection of Professional Parities in accordance with procedures for the NHS and undertake briefing, formal appointments and overall management of Consultants.

• Ensure that appointments, tenders, contracts and subsequent payments are undertaken in accordance with the clients Standing Orders and Tendering and Contracting Procedures.

Person Specification:

Applicants for this position should be accomplished project management professionals from the Construction industry with at least 2 -3 years experience post qualification.

Adept in a Client facing role, you will ideally come from a strong Consultancy background.

Ideally applicants will be educated to degree level in a construction, property or other healthcare related discipline. It will also strengthen an application if you hold other professional qualifications, such as such as Prince II or MAPM status.

It is essential that applicants have already gained experience within Health/NHS schemes. You must also be able to show leadership, vision and determination to identify and build relationships with old and new Clients as the company continues its expansion.
