Job Description:

Continuing success had resulted in a great opportunity for an experienced and creative senior Urban Designer to join this impressive multi-disciplinary Private Practice.

You will be joining a talented team which specialises in promoting land through the Local Plan process ranging from small sites through to large urban extensions and new settlements.

You will working with other highly competent Urban Designers as well as the "greater" team which includes:

~ Town Planners
~ Architects
~ Landscape Architects

You will work as part of a creative team to deliver visions and advocacy documents, masterplans, development frameworks, regeneration strategies, detailed planning and design studies, and strategic engagements.

Person Specification:

The talented Candidate for this role will be:

~ Ideally dual qualified with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or Town Planning with an additional qualification in Urban Design

~ Highly experienced, ideally 10 years post qualification

~ From a strong design background and with excellent technical skills that enable you to naturally communicate design ideas through a range of graphical styles and mediums including hand drawn graphics

~ Able to excel and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment to tight deadlines

~ A natural communicator with people at all levels and backgrounds, including the Design Team, Clients and external Consultants

~ A great Project Manager and have a great ability to coordinate projects alongside Colleagues and Sub Consultants

~ A sound decision maker and have good ole pragmatism
