Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has become available to join this well respected consultancy in West Yorkshire as a Electrical Design Engineer from intermediate to principal level.

My Clients building services team have performed exceptionally in recent years despite the market conditions. With a strong focus on technical delivery and an excellent understanding of Client care.

My Client is looking to strengthen their team further, they are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably experienced/qualified Electrical Engineer.

Working as part of a team in the electrical engineering section, you will be expected to manage your own projects, undertake detailed design to the required standards and take into full consideration CDM and QA standards and the programme deadlines.

This role is primarily technical in nature and our Client hopes that the right individual will enhance their already good technical skill base.

Person Specification:

If you are currently working as a Electrical Design Engineer up to senior level and want/need a change then this could be the role for you.

Day to day duties will include:

Assist others in compiling design specification within given deadlines including checking compliance with the project brief through calculation and cross reference of manufacturers literature; ensuring all relevant standards and guides are used as reference with the design specification

Ability to use design software such as: Hevacomp, Amtech, Relux/Dialux and MS Office

BSc BEng or equivalent MCIBSE / MIET /CENG � all preferred. Other qualifications will be taken into account together with experience. A HNC in Building Services will be considered a minimum.

Good communication and organisation skills, team worker, technical excellence, innovative ideas, leading others, extensive knowledge of electrical design.

Due to deadlines for this role only candidates currently living in the local area will be considered for the position.
