This medium sized consultancy specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering and in particular they are heavily involved in office, warehouse and industrial building developments. Their range of services includes the co-ordination of specialist geotechnical and contamination investigations, design of site remediation, design and detailing of highways works, and the design of building foundations and superstructures alongside other smaller scheme structural engineering works.

Job Description:

My client has an opening for a Geo-environmental Engineer with between 2-5 years experience to join their expanding team. You will assist in the delivery of site investigation works, and the supervision of remedial and earthworks across the UK.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

* Preparation of desk studies and interpreting ground investigation reports
* Logging and sampling of soils and rocks
* Management and supervision of siteworks and ground investigation works
* Managing hazardous ground gas/groundwater monitoring sampling

Person Specification:

You will possess a relevant science or engineering degree within civil engineering, geology or environmental science. Ideally you will hold a Master's in one of the above subjects, but this isn't essential.

You will be working towards your Chartership through one of the following Engineering Bodies: CIWEN, CIEH, Geological Society or similar

You will possess a 'can do' attitude and have excellent written and verbal skills

Ability to deliver projects on time

You must hold a full clean UK driving licence as this role will require you to be on-site
