Job Description:

Due to continued growth my Client is seeking to appoint an experienced Geotechnical Engineer in their Leeds office.

This position will offer you the opportunity to contribute to the development of an established Geo-environmental Consultancy, and potential for further career development.

As a Senior Engineer you will be expected to carry out the following duties;

~ Lead in delivering technical reports (Phase I and II) providing geo-environmental design input, primarily to built-environment projects.
~ Designing and costing Ground Investigation projects as well as providing site-based management of intrusive works and environmental monitoring
~ Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff


Person Specification:

In order to be considered for this position you will hold a degree in Geology, or other relevant subject. Also, you will be nearing Chartership or Chartered already with the Geological Society, ICE or similar.

You will have worked in a similar Geo-environmental Consultancy, preferably in the built environment sector.

Geotechnical focus with an appreciation of contaminated land investigation is important, with experience in managing Geo-environmental site investigation works.

You will have experience in reviewing technical reports.

You must be capable of producing written reports to a high standard and presenting technical information clearly and concisely to Clients.
