An Associate level Engineer is required to join the building structures team in Warrington, which is a multidisciplinary office. You will take on the role of team leader for one of the offices structural teams and will be involved with a number of high profile projects. This will include some new build sustainable buildings, multi-storey mixed use developments, large civil / structural regeneration projects as well as several schools and historic building projects within the education and local authority sectors. Part of your role will be to manage multiple projects simultaneously, all of which may be at different stages in the process. You will also support other Engineers and Technicians from a technical point of view, providing guidance and advice wherever necessary. You will also be involved with business development and client liaison, further developing existing relationships with Architects and other clients. You will also assist generally with the development of the structural division in the region.
To apply for the position of Associate you should be degree qualified in civil or structural engineering, with previous project management experience in building structures design. Previous experience in the design of sustainable buildings would be advantageous, and experience of leading a team would also be desirable.
