A Senior Structural Engineer is required to join the office in Leeds, to lead the existing team. Office workload currently includes a number of high profile projects covering regeneration projects, large multi-disciplinary regeneration schemes, new build hotels, schools and colleges and other new developments. These projects are both locally and internationally based. Your main duties and responsibilities will include managing a team and numerous projects through to completion, ensuring they are in budget. You will provide both technical and design input, providing guidance to other members of staff where necessary. You should feel confident liaising with clients and building existing and new relationships.
To apply for the position of Senior Structural Engineer you must be qualified to degree level in civil or structural engineering. You will also ideally be a chartered member of either IStructE or ICE, or should be working towards this. You should have a wealth of design experience in building structures across a range of sectors, and should be competent in design according to British standards. You should also be experienced in the use of structural analysis and design software.
