Job Description:

As a Structural Engineer you would join a team of Structural Engineers and Technicians working within their modern, multi-disciplinary office in Leeds (within walking distance of the train station).

At any one time you may be responsible for a number of projects, all at different stages, simultaneously. The types of projects you would become involved with are certainly varied and include retail, residential and commercial projects.

An appreciation of REVIT modelling software and working in a BIM environment is also desirable.

Person Specification:

A well rounded individual ideally chartered but not essential.

You should possess a broad range of engineering skills and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of current codes of practice both British Standards and Euro-codes working in all the main construction materials.

You should be able to demonstrate the ability to use the latest 3D finite element modelling design software packages in both concrete and steelwork such as CSC Building Designer, RAM Structural system, Robot etc and also be comfortable undertaking hand calculations or spreadsheets where required.
