Due to continued growth and development my client has a requirement for a Technical Coordinator to join an established team to support and assist their Regional Technical team. You will provide technical support to their land/development team to assist during feasibility studies. Ability to identify the need for external consultants (Planning, Architect, Engineers, etc) agree fees, the scope of service capability, timescales and deliverability. Managing relationships with consultants to ensure the flow of information is accurate and within the agreed time scales. You will be required to manage the process of tendering for setting-up and establishing on site management companies, whilst implementing the group procedures and ensuring all legal aspects in relation to various agreements; S38, 104, 278 are adhered to and arrange bonds, guarantees, warranties and insurances. Coordinate the appointment of utilities, including designs, quotes and any required agreements.
To be considered for this role you will HNC/HND qualified or above within Construction or Civil Engineering and possesses a broad experience within Technical/Planning. Knowledge of the legal frameworks associated with planning management and development procurement. Good awareness of codes of practice that impact on land acquisition and planning matters e.g. Planning Policy, systems and frameworks, both locally and regionally You will possess good organisation skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Awareness of Type approval with NHBC, LABC and SBD. I've been informed that this role will develop into a Technical Managers role for the right person in due course.
